Fast Assault Craft / Combat Boat of ASEAN Countries




1. Indonesia

Kapal Motor Cepat (KMC) Komando

KMC Komando is built to accomodate 3 crew and 31 troops. The speedboats can be operated on the high sea, coastlines, rivers and swamp areas.

2. Malaysia

CB 90 Combat Boat

It is designed to accomodate 3 (two officers and one engineer) and up to 21 amphibious troops with full equipment. The combat boat can reach 440 km range. CB 90 H is low profile. It project a small target area and a low radar signature. Two versions of the combat boat within the Royal Malaysian Navy, first is CB 90H and the other is CB 90HEX. 

3. Philippines

Multi-purpose Attack Craft (MPAC)

The MPAC is designed to accomodate a crew of 5 (3 crew, 2 officers), plus 16 fully equipped soldiers and operating in territorial waters up to "Sea State 3" (slight waves). The MPAC can reach 560 km range. The Philippines Navy has 3 version of MPAC boats. The first is Mk-1, then Mk-2, and the latest is Mk-3 version.

4. Thailand

Marsun M18 Fast Assault Boat

The M18 is designed to accomodate 5 crew and 18 troops. It is provided with inclined platform at aft for underway launching and hauling 2 of fully equipped and manned RHIBs (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats).
